Wouldn't it be nice to finally have that magic pill in the weight loss world? We can't say we have discovered it in Omega-3's yet, but the overall health benefits that it possesses are so vast that there is a huge argument to get it in your supplementation routine.  And as our philosophy holds strong that weight loss is a byproduct of health, Omega-3 fatty acids are essential to a healthy weight especially since Omega-3's reduce inflammation and improves insulin sensitivity. 

To break down the benefits of Omega-3 fatty acids, we invited Dr. WIlliam Harris to the show. Dr. Harris is an internationally recognized expert on omega-3 fatty acids and obtained his Ph.D. in Human Nutrition from the University of Minnesota and did post-doctoral fellowships in Clinical Nutrition and Lipid Metabolism at the Oregon Health Sciences University. Dr. Harris is a Professor in the Department of Medicine in the Sanford School of Medicine at the University of South Dakota and the President and CEO of OmegaQuant.
